    Our rental car whilst in Tasmania. I got to say that was a very bad car in my opinion. The interior is really outdated. I liked the boot space, it was quite large, but I found the car very uncomfortable on long drives from Hobart to Strahan. This shown above is the facelifted Nissan X-Trail ST 4WD. Good thing it had bluetooth otherwise the car would have been awful!! I would much rather opt for a Kuga, Outlander or RAV4, instead of this car. The Nissan X-Trail T31 was released in 2007 and was initially was powered by a 2.5litre 4 cylinder engine and later in 2008 the 2.0dCi engine was added!! The variants that were available included the base ST, ST-L and range topping Ti, that was equipped with the 2.5litre engine, whilst for the 2.0dCi engine, the TS and TL were the variants available. Also a limited edition Adventure was included A facelift took place in 2010. The restyling of the X-Trail included a protruding bumper, new grille, updated headlights and all new alloy wheel designs. CVT was added as a new automatic transmission replacing the pre-facelift X-Trail's 6 speed automatic. 6 speed manual is still an option on the facelift version as well. In May 2012, the top variants included Nissan's new 'Around View Monitor.' In summary, the car is pretty bland, but I think I would opt for the Ti if I was forced to buy a Nissan X-Trail T31.
